I was tired of handling my paper patterns. You know. You print a pattern that you find online, you cut it out and fight with it as you trace around it onto your fabric. I was done with that. I went to the dollar store and bought a few poster boards and transfered my paper patterns onto the more sturdy poster board.
This is sooo much nicer. It lays flat on the fabric and I can easily trace around the pattern.
All I need now is more poster board for more patterns.
How do you manage your patterns?
This is a great idea. Back in the day when I had time to sew, well, small things, stuffed animals mainly, and when we used to eat more cereal, I would use the empty cereal box cardboard as patterns.
