Outcome...

An Austin icon.
Ok...ok...

Brief fill-in on the local Etsy fair I participated in this last weekend.

I'm a pessimist, but I was pessimistically optimistic about this event.  I did think I was gonna do somewhat well...if not with my purses at least with my vintage finds,  but....

There was very little traffic.  Very.....little.  I don't think anyone sold much of anything.

Based on the location I did think it was going to be busier then it actually was, but I guess you never know.

Hmmm...I guess it would have been much different if it was busy and I sold nothing...right.  Close to nothing with it being dead I guess is good.

Oh well.  It was an experience and if I didn't do it I would always wonder what if.

Now it's time to list all the stuff and purses in my Etsy shop.

This wasn't all the purses. There were still some off to the side.

  1. Well, your booth looked awesome! If I had seen those purses dangling in front of my eyes I would have caved for sure :) Good practice for the next time, and big kudos to you for getting out there and giving it a go!

  2. At least you put yourself out there and tried! That is more than I can say about myself. I am not even brave enough for that. Hopefully your next show has more traffic and your sales match the traffic. Good luck!

  3. I think its hard time for sellers everywhere at the moment with the economy the way it is. But hopefully things will pick up and improve i think its a great that you tried another route as you say if you don't do it you will never know. I love the fabrics of your bags the lemons, greens and blues such fresh spring like colours really lovely. Good luck, dee x
